"There's no question that Saddam Hussein is a threat... Yes, he has chemical and biological weapons. He's had those for a long time. But the United States right now is on a very much different defensive posture than we were before September 11th of 2001... He is, as far as we know, actively pursuing nuclear capabilities, though he doesn't have nuclear warheads yet. If he were to acquire nuclear weapons, I think our friends in the region would face greatly increased risks as would we." -- Wesley Clark on September 26, 2002

The polls in Iowa show a three-way, dead heat race for the Democratic nomination for President, with current numbers all within the margin of error. But Hillary’s latest gaffes occurred while in Iowa, both of which honesty may be a deciding factor for on the fence Democrat voters in Iowa. The first occurred during a campaign stop at a restaurant in Toledo, Iowa. Hillary met a waitress named Anita Esterday. It was reported that Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign failed to leave her a tip after they were waited on at a Maid-Rite. The Clinton camp immediately responded saying that they did in fact leave a $100 tip with the manager.Yet after a second interview with the waitress, the Huffington Post reported that Esterday says the manager just told a fib to make the attention and press go away. When later asked how the incident changed the way she would approach the presidential election, she stated, "I'm not going to vote for Hillary. That is a definite. No one could pay me enough money. My opinion of her has changed drastically. The more I read and find out about her it changes more and more to the negative. I don't believe she can help out the working women of this world because I don't believe she gets it."It was then later reported that the Clinton campaign had on two occasions planted questions to audience members at town hall style meetings in Iowa.
