A leading pro-abortion group is stepping up its primary election campaign efforts for Hillary Clinton and putting its financial and organizational backing in her corner. Emily's List is known for its multimillion dollar operation but it will spend the next two months organizing abortion advocates on her behalf.

A leading pro-abortion group is stepping up its primary election campaign efforts for Hillary Clinton and putting its financial and organizational backing in her corner. Emily's List is known for its multimillion dollar operation but it will spend the next two months organizing abortion advocates on her behalf. The organization, which is getting involved in the presidential elections for the first time, plans to contact as many as 100,000 women in Iowa to encourage them to back Clinton.The group also plans to launch a new web site on November 19 targeting Democratic women in the state who do not normally participate in the caucus process. The goal is to encourage these pro-abortion women to promote Clinton in January at the localized campaign events and vote for her in the caucus.Maren Hesla, who is directing the program, said Emily's List will pour significant funds into heavy advertising for Clinton."It will be substantial and you won't be able to escape it," she told AP.
