Affirmative action means equal opportunity for all.
affirmative action also applies to white people in other racial demographicaly predominate societies.
Most of the stories and posts here are stories of reverse descrimination.That is not the fault of affirmative action, it is the fault of the company taking that action, and is illegal.
Comparable worth is applied to promotions and equal pay for equal responsibilities or experience for equal positions.
When comparable worth is not working: then race, nepotism, and cronyism are causes of unequal pay or undeserved promotions.
When it is working that would be like all new employee's start at the same pay scale, same benifits, no matter race, gender, religion. Promotions would be based on Job Preformance only. |
