In the latest controversy fabricated by the Democrats, we have a phony hero, Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) and a pandering political opportunist, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) accusing radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh of grievously insulting our troops. It is almost too comical to be believed.

In the latest controversy fabricated by the Democrats, we have a phony hero, Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) and a pandering political opportunist, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) accusing radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh of grievously insulting our troops. It is almost too comical to be believed. Senator Harkin is known for famously concocting combat experience in Vietnam, much in the same vein as John Kerry’s Cambodia fantasy, and both Reid and Harkin undermine our troops at every opportunity, providing of course, it is not too obvious to the voters. This transparent and rather clumsy attempt at shaping the political environment prior to a presidential election is predictable and standard practice for a party so willing to lie that the truth is seldom found in their public statements or in their polices.“Last week, Rush Limbaugh went way over the line, way over the line. While I respect his right to say anything he likes, his unpatriotic comments I cannot ignore. During his show last Wednesday, Limbaugh was engaged in one of his typical rants. This one was unremarkable, indistinguishable from his usual drivel, which has been steadily losing listeners for years, [sic] until he crossed that line by calling our men and women in uniform who oppose the war in Iraq, and I quote, "phony soldiers.[sic]“ - Senate Majority Leader Harry ReidHaving heard Rush’s comments, I can only shake my head. Do the Democrats think the American people are so stupid that they will not go to the web and read exactly what Rush said? I very much doubt that either of these senatorial geniuses actually read or listened to the comments they so ridiculously condemn.
