Obama expands lead over Hillary in Wisconsin
Barack Obama has expanded his lead over Hillary Clinton in Wisconsin to 13 points, according to Public Policy Polling's latest survey in the state.Obama leads 53-40, after holding a 50-39 advantage in a survey done earlier this week.He received support from well over 60% of those polled under the age of 45, and leads with both white and female voters in addition to his core constituencies of males and African Americans.

"But we can expect Wisconsin will see the same record levels of turnout from young voters and black voters that Obama has been bringing out in other states. That should proplel him to a double digit victory."On the Republican side, John McCain leads Mike Huckabee 50-39. That represents nearly half of McCain's lead evaporating in the last week. McCain had previously led the state 53-32.Huckabee has closed in on McCain in the finals days in recent primaries in places like Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia. Those states, like Wisconsin, all show a significant number of Republican voters who list moral and family values as their biggest issue when deciding who to vote for President. Huckabee leads that group 70-18 in Wisconsin."Four years ago, John Edwards came close to a surprising upset in Wisconsin when the Democratic nomination was all but settled. If the trend towards Huckabee continues, there could be a similar dynamic on the Republican side this year," said Debnam.
