 New FEC complaint filed against Senator Clinton
Peter F. Paul, along with his attorney Colette Wilson, has filed a new FEC complaint against Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Paul's complaint calls upon the commission to void and set aside its conciliation agreement with Senator Clinton’s joint fundraising committee, which purported to immunize Senator Clinton and her agents from further investigation into and liability arising out of all fundraising activities connected to her 2000 Senate campaign.

Paul's complaint calls upon the commission to void and set aside its conciliation agreement with Senator Clinton’s joint fundraising committee, which purported to immunize Senator Clinton and her agents from further investigation into and liability arising out of all fundraising activities connected to her 2000 Senate campaign.It also calls for new intestivagations to reopen into the matters with new evidence of Senator Clinton’s and her agents’ illegal solicitation, coordination, and acceptance of Mr. Paul’s in-kind contributions totaling nearly $1.9 million. The complaint also calls to investigate the filing of a fourth false FEC report.The fourth amended report filed on January 30, 2006, barely approaches compliance with the conciliation agreement’s requirement that the disclosure report be amended “to reflect the unreported $721,895 in in-kind contributions.” But what is worse, however, is that even without violating any specific requirement of the agreement, the report permitted to be filed by the Commission operates as a continuing and intentional obstruction of the public’s right to know that Peter Paul gave in excess of $1.2 million to Hillary Clinton’s federal campaign.Documentation of the California civil case of Paul v. Clinton, filed in the California Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles, C and the appeal taken before the California Court of Appeals were also submitted to the Commission.
