By: Neal BoortzHillary's chief strategist said yesterday that Hillary would get 360 electoral votes if the election were held today and she faced Rudy Giuliani. Mark Penn, Hillary's strategist said, "The voters are looking for someone who has the strength and experience to lead, and little has changed in the last few weeks outside of the massive media coverage of the attacks."Well .. that's not exactly accurate. Oh, Hillary could probably win with a landslide if the election were today ... but it certainly wouldn't be because they see her as someone with the "strength and experience to lead." It would be because the 21st Century voter is looking for someone who will make their lives easier. The type of voters who will cast their ballot for Hillary are interested in one thing: Which one of the candidates is going to get the government to do the things for me that I don't particularly want to do for myself. Hillary is the candidate for the 40-hour work week voter; the voter who feels that 40 hours a week at a job with ample smoking breaks, 60 days of paid family leave, 12 paid sick days, two weeks of paid vacation, paid parking, child care and a health payment plan is all that should ever be expected of any American .. the rest should be provided by government. Meanwhile, it must be good to be Bill's wife ... and benefit from your husband's controversial pardons while president. Three recipients of last minute pardons before Bill left the White House have now donated thousands of dollars to Hillary's campaign. Just their small token of appreciation, I suppose. The campaign finance records were examined by ABC News. One of the people pardoned was David Herdlinger, a former prosecutor from Arkansas who pleaded guilty to mail fraud after taking bribes to reduce or drop charges against defendants charged with drunken driving. He donated $1,000 in August. Insurance agent Alfredo Regalado was pardoned for failing to report "report the transportation of currency in excess of $10,000 into the United States." He gave $2,000. And John Deutch was Bill's CIA director. He was pardoned for charges that he mishandled government secrets. He gave the maximum allowable donation of $2,300.
