"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." -- Nancy Pelosi, December 16, 1998

Hillary's Healthcare - Ugghh
Hillary Clinton goes out of her way to convince us that her new healthcare plan is not government-mandated. And you know what they say about people who are defensive. She’s quoted as saying, “I know my Republican opponents will try to equate health care for all Americans with government-run health care. Don't let them fool us again. This is not government-run."

But how is it not? It is required healthcare coverage and that’s too much government in people’s lives. Everyone should be able to have insurance, she says again and again. And yes, they should, by their choice. It’s called the “American Health Choices Plan" and though it does include plan options, still makes unconstitutional mandates. According to a Wall Street Journal piece, it “would create new federal subsidies to aid those who couldn’t afford the required health coverage…[and] impose new mandates on large employers to provide health coverage or help pay for it.”
According to the 90s, Hillary would like it to be even more socialized than this but we all saw how that worked out so she’s been tweaking it ever since and hoping this time it doesn’t crash and burn. But things have changed since then. The American sentiment about healthcare costs has shifted and the Democratic party has turned universal healthcare coverage into some kind of humanitarian issue. They’ve made it seem that if you oppose it, that’s being cruel to the poor and sick. So average Americans who don’t know any better automatically say, “Of course everyone should be covered!” Free? Sweet. But of course nothing is free and Hillary’s plan takes steps towards the disasterous healthcare systems in Canada, Cuba and other socialized locations.
