The FirstWe can bring the first elephant into the light by stating this simple fact: As a candidate for the Presidency, Hillary Clinton asks us to do what has been morally and intellectually repugnant to our nation since its inception:Agree to the establishment of a monarchy whereby for 28 consecutive years two families, exclusively utilizing the powerful engines of the Oval Office, will have controlled the executive branch of the Federal government as well as exercised de facto control over the Federal judiciary, including, of course, the Supreme Court. The elephant acknowledged, we move on to some thoughts about its profound danger. In little more than a year, one of the aforementioned families will complete its twelve year hold on the Presidency as a son relinquishes his seat of power, having repeated the sins of his establishment father (principally by failing to stand up forcefully to a corrupt and profligate Congress) and having repeated the sins of the establishment past (by sending troops into battle with one hand, at times both hands, tied behind their backs and actively promoting the creation of an America with de facto open borders through which people and goods flow in dangerously unregulated while jobs flow out with no protections for American workers.
