Hillary Rodham Clinton's slip is showing. Barack Obama jumped ahead of New York's junior senator in an Iowa poll released yesterday, seizing the lead in the bitterly contested state as the two campaigns fought a heated war of words. bama leads Clinton 30 percent to 26 percent in the new Washington Post/ABC News poll, with John Edwards at 22 percent. Clinton hasn't trailed Obama in a poll since late August. The former first lady has by narrow margins led every Iowa survey since a Newsweek poll in late September, but Iowa is the one state where she has failed to rack up big numbers. Obama pulls even with Clinton among female voters, and beats her among men, 28 to 19 percent. Just half of those surveyed said Clinton was willing to speak her mind, compared to 76 percent for Obama.
