By: Lance Thompson On the campaign trail, Hillary Clinton has recently been relating how many "women in their 90's" come up to her and say they were born before women could vote and want to "live long enough to see a woman in the White House." By relating this story, Clinton evidently believes that being a female is one of the qualities that qualifies her for the office. Her campaign recently stated that Clinton, as a female, is likely to draw a substantial number of Republican women to her side on that quality alone. The most important challenge the next president will face is the Islamic terrorist enemy and that enemy’s indefatigable efforts to kill Americans. How will a female President differ from a male President in the role of commander-in-chief of the American military? Of course, each man and woman is an individual, and each brings a unique philosophy, range of experience, and set of skills to the highest office. However, when confronting the Islamic terrorists enemy, there is one great difference between a male and a female President. The Islamic culture is overwhelmingly male dominated. Men have many more rights than women, men are valued more highly than women, men are granted more respect and deference than women, and women are expected to know and accept their inferior status. If a man commits adultery, he may be criticized, but the woman who commits adultery is subject to an "honor killing" at the hands of her own family. Women have a status somewhere between servants and property. This benighted view of women is moderating in some Islamic communities, but it finds its most extreme adherents in the Islamic terrorists who are dedicated to killing us.
