But violence is down.And just like they did six months ago, Democrats in Congress ignored the good news.It's like they refuse to take success for an answer.Since the first distant drumbeat of war, Democrats such as Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) opposed the idea.He raised doubts about the reasons for going into war. Even more important, Feingold warned that it would be much harder and longer and bloodier than rosily predicted at the time.
