Ah yes it's indeed great and encouraging news that the greatest and indeed most underestimated president in recent history is coming back in the poll numbers ans the midterm elections are coming. This is from one of the most if not the most trusted polls in the media, the CNN/gallup poll.
The liberal nuts were hoping at regaining control of the Senate and now things are ( thank God ) looking quite a bit more even down the party lines. This of course is all relating to George Bush staying the course in foriegn policies in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Why, and how could the staying the course be helping the president when it looks like the world is going to hell in Iraq? How could that possibly help if his policy seems to be going slow at best? It's quite simple actually because while the America people might not be happy with the way the war is being waged they have also seen an unwavering and stauch steadfastness against terrorism while the left wing loons have absolutely no plan. None.
Understood that Murtha wanted an immidiate withdrawal and howlin Howard Dean also called for a fast approach to the withdrawal issue the actual dates on withdraw are all over the place. It changes all the time, and it's just enough to drive you mad. So it really comes down to a failed plan ( if that's what you believe it is ) is better than no plan at all.
Also not to be ignored at all is that we just had a very solem and what should be a very sobering 5th 9/11 anniversary. People remember what happened on that day 5 years ago when madmen hijacked planes and slaughtered over 3,000 innocent Americans whom were doing nothing more than going about their daily lives.
Now take these 2 issues which are galvanizing ( rightfully so ) peoples vision of WHAT and more importantly WHY the bush doctrine is to bring democracy to the middle east.
If the now polls don't have the left in an uproar gas prices are going down faster that a Clinton intern (zing). |
